PRO-gressions
AGES 7 AND UP
Our PRO-gressive Technique classes offer a more disciplined approach to dance, designed for tweens and teens who are ready to take their training to the next level. These classes focus on both social and technical growth in a variety of dance styles, all within a professional, structured atmosphere. Students in this series are expected to demonstrate commitment, dedication, and consistent class participation, with adherence to class dress codes.

Special Performance Opportunities: In addition to the regular showcase and recital, students may have the chance to participate in extra performance events.
Placement
Placement is determined by both age and ability.
All students must take a placement class before registering.

What to Expect
Enrollment: The enrollment period is from September to May.
Style Options: Students at this level can choose which styles of dance they want to study, allowing for a more customized training experience.
Class Schedule:
Classes may be scheduled on multiple days.
Prerequisite: We recommend at least one year of Discover Dance for beginning dancers before moving to this series, or Director’s permission is required.
Levels:
Levels 1 and 2 are designed to meet both skill and social requirements, based on age. (Ages listed are guidelines and may be adjusted as needed.)
Level 3 and higher: Students must have Director’s permission to register for these levels.
Ballet/Pointe
Classical ballet technique that focuses on grace, precision, and body placement, enhancing all other styles of dance. Students will work towards dancing en pointe under the guidance of trained ballet instructors.
Note: Students must pass a series of skill assessments before being allowed to begin pointe work.
Jazz
A dynamic fusion of ballet, lyrical, and popular dance styles, emphasizing specialized body movement and rhythmic expression. Students will explore a variety of jazz styles, including commercial, pop, Broadway, and more.
Tap
A percussive dance style that blends jazz and funk into a rhythmic and musical experience, focusing on creating sounds and beats through footwork.
Contemporary
A fusion of ballet, modern, and jazz that combines the beauty of classical movement with the emotional expression of modern dance and the rhythmic flow of jazz. Students will challenge their bodies and minds with this dynamic and expressive style.
Dress Code
Each level will have a class leotard and white skirt.
Ballet shoes with matching tights.
Jazz/Tap/Contemporary shoes and black yoga pants.

Level 1/2 Tues 5:15-6:15
Level 3/4 Mon 6:00-7:00 and Wed 6:30-7:30 (this is a two day class)
Jazz/Tap 1/2 Tues 6:15-7:15
Jazz 3/4 (company) Mon 7:00-7:45 *invitation only
Contemporary
Beg/Int Ages 6-13 Tues 4:30-5:15
Company Wed 7:30-8:15 (invitation only)
Tuition
A $10/class non-refundable deposit will be required to hold your spot. This will be deducted from your total due.
Tuition is for Sept to May and based on class length. Discounts given for multiple classes
Tuition can be paid in full or 9 installments due the 1st of each month Sept to May.

45 min $550/season or $62/installment
60 min $650/season or $72/installment
90 min $750/season or $82/installment
