PRO-gressions
AGES 7 AND UP
For dancers seeking a more structured and committed training path, Dance Progressions provides a pre-professional experience across a range of styles. These classes emphasize discipline, technique, and artistic development in a focused, supportive atmosphere. Students are expected to follow dress codes, participate actively, and show dedication to their growth as dancers—both socially and technically.

Special Performance Opportunities: In addition to the regular showcase and recital, students in the Dance Progressions series may be invited to participate in additional performance events as a member of Aspire Performing Arts Company

Placement Required: All students must be placed in the appropriate class level by the director.

Full-Year Commitment: Enrollment is for the full 2024-2025 season (September to May).

Aspire! Performing Arts Company offers students enrolled in our PROgressions (leveled) classes a unique pre-professional experience, including additional training and performance opportunities.

Audition or Invitation Required

Auditions are open to all students currently enrolled in a leveled class. Students in other classes may also be invited to join.

Class Schedule:
Classes may be scheduled on multiple days.
Prerequisite: We recommend at least one year of Discover Dance for beginning dancers before moving to this series, or Director’s permission is required.
Levels:
Level 1 is designed for students with a basic understanding of dance terminology and completion of at least one year of discover dance.
Level 2 and higher: Students in these levels are based by skill and must have Director’s permission to register for these levels.
Dance Style Descriptions
🩰 Ballet
Ballet is the foundation of many dance styles. It emphasizes grace, posture, and technique while developing strength, balance, and coordination through elegant movement and classical music.
💃 Jazz
Jazz is a high-energy dance style that combines sharp, stylized movements with rhythm and musicality. It’s fun, expressive, and performed to upbeat, contemporary music.
👞 Tap
Tap focuses on rhythm, timing, and sound. Dancers wear tap shoes to create percussive beats with their feet, learning to make music through movement.
🌊 Contemporary
Contemporary dance blends elements of ballet, jazz, and modern dance. It features expressive, fluid movement and encourages emotional storytelling, creativity, and dynamic motion.

Wed 5:30-7:00 (classes will be taught in 30 min. increments)
Ballet 5:30-6:00/Jazz 6:00-6:30/Tap 6:30-7:00
Ballet is required for all students. Add on Jazz and/or Tap.
Ballet 2 and 3 Tues 5:15-6:15
Ballet/Pointe 3 and 4 Mon 6:00-7:00 and Wed 7:00-7:45
Jazz 2 and 3 Tues 6:15-7:00
Tap 2 and 3 Tues 7:00-7:30
Contemporary Open Level Tues 7:30-8:15
Aspire! Performing Arts Company Classes (audition required)
Ballet Company Mon 5:00 (varies based on current production/casting)

PRO-gressions/Company Tuition
Pay in full at registration OR reserve your spot with a $10/non-refundable deposit per class
(includes weekly classes except Sept 1, Nov 25-29, Dec 22-Jan 3, Spring Break (TBD), and May 25)
30 min $450/yr or $50/installment
45 min $550/yr or $62/installment
60 min $650/yr or $72/installment
Ballet 3 and 4 (Two day) $750/yr or $83/installment
Register for multiple classes and save
2-3 classes save 5%
4 or more classes save 10%
Performance fees of $80/costume *we reserve the right to adjust this amount as needed based on market rates
