At Arts Inspired Dance Academy, we offer a fun and dynamic range of classes for children to explore the world of dance, gymnastics, and theater! Our creative programs are designed to nurture your child’s imagination, build confidence, and develop important motor and social skills—all in a positive, supportive environment.

Whether they’re tumbling for the first time, grooving to their favorite beats, or stepping into ballet and tap, each class is crafted to inspire creativity while fostering a love of movement.

From toddlers to age 7, we offer age-appropriate classes in ballet, tap, gymnastics, and drama that provide a foundation for lifelong learning and artistic expression. Each class is led by experienced instructors who are dedicated to ensuring your child’s experience is both fun and educational. Plus, our end-of-semester showcases are a great way for your little one to shine and share their progress with family and friends!

This year, we pressed pause on some of our 2025 programs — including Preschool Arts Adventure — to take an intentional step back and refocus our mission. Our goal is simple: to make sure we’re serving our community (and especially our youngest artists!) in the most meaningful way possible.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re reimagining our Early Childhood programs to reflect the real needs and dreams of families in our community — with your help.

For years, we’ve been proud to introduce young learners to the joy of the arts, and we’re excited to continue that legacy with refreshed, community-driven programs that build on what’s always made our approach special: creativity, connection, and care.

🌳 UNDER THE BIG TREE
Where creativity, connection & play grow together!

Originally held outside “under the big tree,” this beloved program continues to bring families together for joyful, hands-on learning — now indoors (and sometimes still outdoors, when the weather’s nice!).

Each 45-minute drop-in class offers a new experience — yoga, movement, art, music, or tumbling — designed for toddlers through age 6 and open to all abilities.

Get ready for giggles, wiggles, and creative play! My Artist and Me is a joyful 6-week parent-and-tot class where toddlers (ages 1–3) explore movement, music, and beginner tumbling—all in a fun, supportive space with their favorite grown-up by their side.

Each class blends imaginative play with playful learning, helping little ones build confidence, coordination, and creativity. No dress code—just comfy clothes and a readiness to move, groove, and make memories together!

(Parent or caregiver participation is required.)

Classes are 45 min

Groovy Kids

Thurs 4:30-5:15 (Fuquay) please note the registration says Wed.

Get ready to feel the beat! This high-energy 6 week class is all about rhythm, movement, and FUN. Kids will move, groove, and dance their hearts out to upbeat, pop-inspired music designed to get little bodies wiggling and giggling.

From stomp-and-clap games to funky dance moves, Rhythm & Moves helps build coordination, confidence, and musicality—all while having a blast! Perfect for young movers who love to jam out and express themselves through sound and motion.

$80/session (Paid in full at registration. Non-refundable once class starts. Includes a $15 non-refundable registration fee payable per session)

No showcase. Students will do an in class presentation at the last class.

Rates will be $90 beginning Jan 2026 ($75 for session 5)

*This is a drop off class. Parents may leave the building to run errands, enjoy downtown etc.

Artful Melodies

Get ready to move, groove, and create! Artful Melodies is a joyful 6-week class that blends early music skills with creative process art, designed especially for children ages 3 to 6. Each week, little artists and musicians will explore rhythm, melody, and movement through engaging music activities—then dive into open-ended art projects inspired by the sounds and themes of the day.

From dancing with scarves to painting with rhythm, Artful Melodies encourages imagination, self-expression, and playful learning in a warm and supportive environment. Perfect for budding creatives who love to sing, move, and make a mess!

*Tuition includes arts supplies and instrument/prop to take home each week to continue the learning fun.

AIDA Tumblers

Flip, roll, and grow with us! AIDA Tumblers is a high-energy, confidence-boosting introduction to gymnastics for ages 3–5. In this 6-week class, young athletes will explore basic tumbling skills while building strength, balance, coordination, and body awareness—all in a fun and supportive environment that encourages movement and self-expression.

Our playful approach helps kids gain physical confidence while having a blast!

What to Wear: Comfortable activewear for boys and a gymnastics leotard for girls to allow for easy movement and maximum fun.

Tiny Artists

Tiny dancers, big smiles! In this playful introductory class, little ones will discover the basics of ballet and tap through imaginative movement, music, and fun. Dancers will twirl, tiptoe, and tap their way through foundational steps in a warm and encouraging space—perfect for first-time students!

Parents do not participate in class but are asked to remain in the building during the session.

Dress Code: Any type of dancewear, ballet shoes, and tap shoes. We have a fantastic selection of shoes and apparel available in our boutique!

Tuition

$400 Jan to May season (incl. $15 non-refundable registration fee)

Tuition may be paid in full at registration or reserve spot with $15/deposit and balance paid in installments due the 1st of each month

Let the rhythm and imagination take the lead! In this upbeat combo class, dancers will explore the fundamentals of ballet and tap through structured lessons that encourage creativity, musicality, and joyful movement. Perfect for young dancers ready to twirl, shuffle, and shine! Rising K students should complete a semester of Tendues and Tap Shoes before enrolling in this class.

Dress Code: Any dancewear, ballet shoes, and tap shoes.We have a fantastic selection of shoes and apparel available in our boutique!
