is the 501(c)3 affiliate of AIDA. The mission of Inspired Kids is to inspire and impact our community with workshops, events, and programs designed to promote the arts and influence special populations within our community.
Inspired Kids offers students of all ages the chance to enjoy dance through scholarships, take part in special performance opportunities, expand creativity and impact lives.
Due to COVID 19, many dance families have been financially impacted due to job loss and reduced hours. Please consider a tax deductible helping to support the Juanita Robertson Memorial Scholarship Fund. Students will receive special funding that will enable them to continue to enjoy their dance, music and tumbling programs at a free or reduced rate.

An original ballet by Michelle Hankins, "The Littlest Angel"(2002) tells the story of young angel trying to find her way in heaven. Often disheveled and disruptive, she finds herself an outcast among the the other angels. Finding favor with the Archangel and Understanding Angel, who provide grace and guidance, the little angel makes amends among her peers while learning a valuable lesson in true meaning of gifts.
"The Littlest Angel" premiered in 2002 and was recognized by the the United Arts Council with the Regional Emerging Artist Hub Grant. The ballet features original choreography, costuming and staging.
This years production, January 11, 2020, FV Cultural Arts Center, will feature the Inspired Kids Performing Arts Company. These students, ages 7 and up, are members of the Arts Inspired Dance Academy Ballet Program. This will be their first production of this magnitude and they will delight audiences with their performance for years to come.
A scholarship in memory of Juanita Robertson (1928-2019) will provide free and reduced classes and programs for qualifying students in our area. Her generous spirit, committed support to the arts and making dreams come true, will live on this scholarship.
Ms. Robertson is Michelle's late grandmother. A tremendous supporter of the arts, she was instrumental in the ideation of "The Littlest Angel", was an invested financial supporter of the arts as well as playing an instrumental in Ms. Hankins career working diligently to handcraft costumes and provide support throughout her career.
is designed to give students with Autism, Downs Syndrome, Sensory Processing and other special learning needs a safe place to grow and have fun. The perfect blend of dance, rhythm and fun, designed to engage students with games, upbeat music and movement designed to promote independence, and growth across the 5 developmental domains.
GROOVEWORKS Shining Stars is designed to provide our Shining Stars the chance to learn and thrive in an environment that can embrace their special qualities. Our work with local agencies, such as GiGi's Playhouse Down syndrome Achievement Center, allows us to offer this unique class at no cost to participants.
