Whether your student is seeking disciplined dance training or simply wants to add dance to their weekly activities, we offer two paths of study to help them reach their goals. Youth and young adult students at AIDA benefit from a variety of end-of-season performances, special showcases, and community outreach events, offering opportunities for both personal growth and giving back to the community.
Our trained instructors are committed to providing a safe, age-appropriate learning environment that fosters creativity, builds confidence, and nurtures each student’s individual growth.

CURRENT SEASONS
Ballet/Jazz/Tap (Ages 6-15)
Classes designed to fit into your child’s active schedule!
Perfect for dancers who want to have fun while learning. These classes offer a great balance of technique and enjoyment, with progressive instruction that challenges tweens and teens with age-appropriate movement and music.
Elementary Ages (6-9 years): Combo class that includes Ballet, Jazz, and Tap.
Prerequisite: One year of Creative Ballet/Tap is required for students age 6 before joining this class.
Jan to May 2025 $360/season or $72/installment Fuquay (Wed 5:15) Showcase Fee $60 (tickets not incl)
Tweens/Teens Ages (10-15 years): Choose your preferred style (Ballet, Jazz, or Tap).
Community Involvement: Students at this level participate in outreach events and special performances throughout the year.

DRAMAworks (Ages 4-14)
Unleash your inner performer!
In our DramaWorks program, students learn a wide range of theater production skills, including:
Singing
Dancing
Acting
Set and costume design

Inspirations Community Ensemble
Open to ALL registered students!
All registered students at AIDA can participate in our Inspirations Community Ensemble, a vibrant group dedicated to performing at special community outreach events throughout the season. Ensemble members have the opportunity to showcase their talents at festivals, special programs, and other events.
Membership Requirements:
Becoming a member is easy! Simply meet the following requirements:

Be a currently registered student at AIDA.

Attend special rehearsals prior to performance events. (These rehearsals are mandatory for participation.)

Commit to the event you are registered for. (Your fellow dancers are counting on you!)

Purchase the required performance attire: A shirt/bow combo, black capris, and black shoes. Hair should be styled in a ponytail and kept out of the face.

Dance PRO-gressions
Our Dance Progressions classes are designed to provide both social and technical growth in a pre-professional setting across a variety of dance styles. These classes emphasize discipline, dedicated training, and active class participation. Students are expected to adhere to class dress codes and demonstrate a commitment to their training.

Special Performance Opportunities: In addition to the regular showcase and recital, students in the Dance Progressions series may be invited to participate in additional performance events as a member of Aspire Performing Arts Company

Placement Required: All students must be placed in the appropriate class level by the director.

Full-Year Commitment: Enrollment is for the full 2024-2025 season (September to May).
