What to expect from AIDA
Whether you are looking for fun, low commitment classes to enrich your lifestyle or progressive classes in dance, gymnastics and more, AIDA is packed with something for everyone! Informal showcases, quality productions and community outreach events gives students of all ages the opportunity to share their talents with a variety of enrichment programs, performances and more that provides our students a unique learning experience while parents enjoy affordable, low-commitment class options.
AIDA Inspired Team Members (staff, guest instructors and volunteers)
AIDA is proud to provide students well-rounded, quality education programs from trained, knowledgeable professionals. Rest assured your student(s) are learning in a safe environment from Team Members that are safety verified and first-aid certified. Our team members have experience in a variety of educational settings that include private and public preschools, public schools and universities. Their varied backgrounds provide students a chance to learn and grow from professionals who are committed to whole child development. Learn more about our instructors here.
Our Facility
AIDA features 3 dance rooms and an art room specifically designed to meet the special needs of our dancers, gymnasts and other programs. Our large dance room features a sprung dance floor, mirrors, ballet barres and special lighting to enhance informal showcases and special events. Our preschool and creative arts dance rooms feature fun decor and mirrors and our art room features art displays, kid friends desks and is fully stocked with all the tools needed for creativity. Additional space includes bathroom, staff office, lobby and storage room to house a variety of craft supplies, costumes, props, learning tools and more to enhance our classes/programs. Our workroom provides ample space to design/build sets and props.
Community Focused
AIDA prides itself in the work we do in our community. From fundraisers to outreach events, our students build strong bodies, minds and character. Students of all ages take part in community outreach such as annual nursing home performances, special events and more. Our staff is committed to providing educational opportunities to individuals of all learning needs and currently provide instruction at a variety of location in Fuquay, Lillington and surrounding areas. We have been honored to receive grants and awards for our many service efforts. Our affiliate non-profit, Inspired Kids 501(c)3, provides scholarships , special performances and special learning programs. Learn more about Inspired Kids here.
Performance
AIDA is a non-competitive studio but that doesn't mean there aren't opportunities for growth at AIDA. With two companies and support from Inspired Kids 501(c)3 Performers give students a variety of year round performances. From special events (local festivals and in-studio events such as our annual Tea Party), community outreach (annual nursing homes, special populations such as in need families), Winter Showcase, Spring Recital, open houses, and specialty performances (The Littlest Angel Ballet, DramaWorks productions) and more, our families and students enjoy a busy, but affordable dance experience.
Parent Involvement
To help us provide the best experience for your student(s) we ask all registered families to follow us on social media ( Facebook and Instagram), keep important info (medical history, address, phone, and email) up to date. We also ask all families to follow us on Remind for important to the minute updates as well as private FB groups to receive important info that is exclusive to AIDA Members. Parents are also asked to volunteer at performances and special events as well as allow students to attend class free from distraction. Arrive on time, dressed appropriately and without phones or other devices except emergency medial devices. Classes for ages 4 and up are closed to guests to provide an optimal learning time for students. Open House will provide families a chance to see what students have been working on.
