Looking for a summer experience that blends creativity, fun, and hands-on learning? Fuquay's ORIGINAL arts-based summer camps are ready to inspire your child this summer!

Our dedicated and trained counselors specialize in blending STEAM-based games, projects, and activities that spark imagination and foster confidence. Each day is an adventure filled with artistic expression, innovative learning, and exciting new skills. Through field trips and visits to local businesses, students will explore the vibrant community around them while making memories that last a lifetime.

Creative Expeditions: 2026 Summer Arts Adventures

JUNE 1-AUG 21

This summer, campers will take flight in our hot air balloon and travel to imaginative destinations filled with art, storytelling, building, movement, and creative play. Each week offers a new expedition designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and collaboration.

Creative Expeditions is open to all curious kids rising K-rising 6th grade who love to explore the world using STEAM based learning.

NEW this summer! Each camper will receive an expedition backpack. Your pack includes an art kit, science tools, and each “trip” (week) you take you will earn a “patch” to add to your backpack.

Registration for returning campers will open Feb 2 and will open to all new campers Feb 16.

Camp Highlights:

STEAM-based activities designed to build creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
Field Trips and Special Guests: We’re working on an exciting lineup including trips to the NC Science Museum and unique, hands-on experiences.
Weekly Ice Cream Walks: Enjoy a fun walk downtown for ice cream and a visit to the park every week.
Weekly Adventures: Each week is a new adventure, featuring themed games, creative arts, and collaborative activities to keep everyone engaged.

Adventure Details

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
$300/week
Add-ons: Early drop-off (7:30 AM, +$30/week) or Late pick-up (6:00 PM, +$30/week)
Field Trips: Weekly field trips, with transportation included (weather permitting). These may include hands-on, guided experiences and local trips related to weekly themes. Must be able to sit in a booster seat provided by AIDA.

A Typical Day at Camp:

At AIDA, we believe in fostering independent, cooperative play and encouraging campers to take initiative in planning their activities. While we’ll stick to a general schedule, we’re always ready to follow our campers’ lead and let their creativity shine!

8:00 - 9:00 AM: Check-in (usually outside)
9:00 - 10:00 AM: Outdoor games/activities
10:00 - 10:30 AM: Snack
10:30 - 11:30 AM: Guided STEAM activity
12:00 PM: Lunch
1:00 - 2:00 PM: Chill Zone/Free Play
2:00 - 3:00 PM: Guided STEAM activity
3:00 - 3:30 PM: Snack
3:30 - 4:30 PM: Guided STEAM activity
4:30 - 5:00 PM: Free Play/Check-out

Parents will receive updates throughout the day of our activities including photos, videos and more.

An email will be sent one week prior with updates.

Fees & Registration:

Non-refundable registration fee: $35 (includes expedition pack) due annually at registration. Camp shirt ($15) will be required for field for all new campers. (Returning campers can use last years shirt)

- Late Pick up is $30/wk
$25 non-refundable deposit per week, per child, is required at registration

How to Register:

Complete your registration online.
Pay the one time non-refundable registration fee and shirt fee (if applicable) to secure your spot.
Deposit is due for each week of camp at registration.
Balance will be charged one week prior to camp.
If your choice camp is full, join the waitlist and a team member will contact you.

Important Notes:

Registration is required for the full week of camp, with no refunds for missed days.
Registrations without required deposits/fees may result in canceled spot. AIDA will not be held responsible if camp fills before all fees are paid.
Cancellations: Must be made one week in advance for a full refund.
Field Trip Fees: Most field trips are free, though some may have a small additional cost.

FEB 2 FOR RETURNING CAMPERS

What to Bring:

Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes
Sunscreen and bug spray (apply before arriving)
Water bottle (should be able to carry in backpack without leaking/too heavy )
Lunch and two snacks (we recommend labeling snacks AM and PM)
Yoga mat
$5 per week for ice cream (paid to counselors at the start of the week)
Each camper will have a small cubby to keep items such as sunscreen, change of clothes, yoga mats for the week/summer.

Please Note:

No electronics, including smartwatches and phones, are allowed at camp (unless specified for long field trips, with prior approval).
If you have a medical device, please inform us in advance.
All medicines will require a waiver and should be given to the counselor. No medicine should be kept in child's cubby.
Parents are encouraged to label lunch/snacks and prepare students for a full day. A $2 charge to the card on file will apply for any food supplied by AIDA. (Granola bar and applesauce)
