Welcome to your one stop shop for your showcase planning needs.

Hard to believe showcase is just around the corner! It seems like we just started the season! We are so excited about our upcoming showcases. Your children have worked hard and are ready to shine!

Please note this page SHOULD NOT be shared.

We will have a public page once public tickets open later this month.

Please read the info on this page thoroughly. It is a lot of info....but you will need ALL of it to help make this show a success.

In Studio Showcases (Tiny Artists)

When

Tues May 26 5:30pm

Who

Mon 5:30 (Ms. Michelle) and Sat 10:45 (Ms. Mia)

Where

At AIDA (2 guests per family)

No additional tickets needed.

Students will come dressed in their new tights, bring both pairs of shoes and hair ready. Costumes will be available to get dressed on this day.

Costume/Hair Info

Costumes will be given out the day of your showcase.

Please arrive with hair in a bun (if possible), clean tights and ballet shoes.

Students will wear tights that match their ballet shoes. Ballet shoes MUST be pink or flesh tone.

Tights MUST be purchased from AIDA. Please pre-order your tights [HERE]

Pictures

Pictures will be done on this day following our showcase.

What to expect at Theater

*All performers should arrive on time to keep us on schedule.

*Students should come dressed for the dress rehearsal exactly as they were for pictures.

*Students with multiple costumes should arrive in their first costume.

*Dress Rehearsal- Parents do not have to stay (rehearsal is closed to guests)

*DRAMA students.--your arrival time is crucial to make sure we are able to get you in microphones.

*If you have ordered flowers or gifts, a table will be set up to pick up your items.

*A line will form at the door. Seating is first come first served. If you have special seating needs please let us know when you drop off for rehearsal.

Volunteers Needed

Help us make the show a success!

A sign up sheet will be coming to volunteer to help us with sets, flowers/gifts, front door greeters, and backstage. Volunteers will get priority seating.

Captain Hook -she has a wig, will need black shoes (jazz)

Lost Boys (Charlotte, Josie, Lilith)- hair in pony, flesh jazz shoes

Costume & Performance Details

This age group will perform two dances.

Performers will have:

1 base costume
Accessories for each character

Shoes: Ballet shoes only
Tights: Pink or flesh-tone only (should match ballet shoes)
Hair: Ballet bun if possible; neat and secure with no accessories
Makeup: Optional (keep natural if worn)
Jewelry: No jewelry

Pictures May 11-16

*Pictures will be taken during your regular class time.

* Please arrive wearing clean tights, with hair done, and the appropriate shoes. Makeup is allowed but should be minimal and natural—no red lipstick or bright colors.

*Costumes will be provided that day, and you will take them home afterward.

*A brief parent meeting will be held at the end of each class.

$12 during the priority purchase window
$15 once tickets open to the public

Priority Ticket Sales for Registered Families: Opens April 6
Public Ticket Sales: Opens April 20

During the PRIORITY TICKET window, registered families may purchase up to 5 tickets per show that your child(ren) are in. All children over the age of 2 will need a ticket.

Beginning April 20, any remaining tickets will open to the public with no purchase limit.

Important:

We will not be able to accommodate families who miss the pre-sale window.
Once a show is sold out, no additional tickets will be released.
Tickets must be purchased through our website or app
No in-person ticket sales
No physical ticket is required
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable

Showcase Shirt

Program Ads

Celebrate your performer and/or advertise your small business in our showcase program

Parent ads are a wonderful way to display a picture supporting your favorite student(s) and congratulate him/her for all their hard work leading up to your current production.

For businesses this is a great way to get your business in front of nearly 500 audience members and show your support of InspiredKids 501(c)3 and Arts Inspired Dance Academy.

Additional needs: Jazz/Tap will need a flesh tone leotard to wear under their romper. (may be purchased in boutique)

A couple of highlights although check with the girls because we have talked individually when they tried on costumes:

Peter Pan-we did not discuss hair, she will need jazz shoes I think...and brown capri yoga style pants.

Wendy-hair down, pink tights, ballet shoes.

Tinkerbell-hair in bun, pink tights, ballet shoes

Michael and John-I would recommend nude leotard under costume maybe...they are wearing pajamas and full covered. I am getting them slippers.

Captain Hook-She will have a black unitard, hair down and curled, she will need black jazz shoes

Smee I would recommend her nude leotard underneath, and jazz shoes
