AGES 6 AND UP
Our Aspire! Training Program is a focused training program designed to build the skills, confidence, and artistry needed for members of our Aspire! Performance Ensemble, the official performance company of AIDA. Featuring several outreach performances and mentorship opportunities throughout the year. This training program is designed for students who want a more disciplined training program. Courses in this collection run Sept to May. Placement is determined by skill level and age.

Aspire! Performing Arts Company offers students enrolled in our PROgressions (leveled) classes a unique pre-professional experience, including additional training and performance opportunities.

Audition or Invitation Required

Auditions are open to all students currently enrolled in a leveled class. Students in other classes may also be invited to join.

Levels:
Level 1 is designed for students with a basic understanding of dance terminology and completion of at least one year of discover dance.
Level 2 and higher: Students in these levels are based by skill and must have Director’s permission to register for these levels.
2026-2027 Performances
Winter 2026 Showcase: Nov 19-20
Winter Village: A Gingerbread Adventure , an original performance featuring Jan Brett’s beloved characters in Gingerbread Baby and Gingerbread Friends.
Spring 2027 Showcase: April 14-17
”A Whole New World Awaits!” Join us as we bring the magic of Disney's Aladdin Jr.

🩰 Ballet/Pointe
Ballet is the foundation of many dance styles. It emphasizes grace, posture, and technique while developing strength, balance, and coordination through elegant movement and classical music. Students must have Director's permission before starting pointe.
Level 1 and 2 Wed 5:30-6:15
Level 3 and 4 Mon 7:30-8:30 & Wed 7:45-8:30 (two days)
💃 Jazz
Jazz is a high-energy dance style that combines sharp, stylized movements with rhythm and musicality. It’s fun, expressive, and performed to upbeat, contemporary music.
Level 1 and 2 Wed 6:15-7:00
Level 3 and 4 Mon 6:30-7:15
👞 Tap
Tap focuses on rhythm, timing, and sound. Dancers wear tap shoes to create percussive beats with their feet, learning to make music through movement.
Level 1 and 2 Wed 7:00-7:30
Level 3 and 4 Mon 6:00-6:30
🌊 Contemporary
Contemporary dance blends elements of ballet, jazz, and modern dance. It features expressive, fluid movement and encourages emotional storytelling, creativity, and dynamic motion.
