At Arts Inspired Dance Academy, we offer a fun and dynamic range of classes for children to explore the world of dance, gymnastics, and theater! Our creative programs are designed to nurture your child’s imagination, build confidence, and develop important motor and social skills—all in a positive, supportive environment.
Whether they’re tumbling for the first time, grooving to their favorite beats, or stepping into ballet and tap, each class is crafted to inspire creativity while fostering a love of movement.
From toddlers to teens, we offer age-appropriate classes in ballet, tap, gymnastics, and drama that provide a foundation for lifelong learning and artistic expression. Each class is led by experienced instructors who are dedicated to ensuring your child’s experience is both fun and educational. Plus, our end-of-semester showcases are a great way to shine and share their progress with family and friends!

🌳 UNDER THE BIG TREE
Where creativity, connection & play grow together!
Originally held outside “under the big tree,” this beloved program continues to bring families together for joyful, hands-on learning — now indoors (and sometimes still outdoors, when the weather’s nice!).
Each 45-minute drop-in class offers a new experience — yoga, movement, art, music, or tumbling — designed for toddlers through age 6 and open to all abilities. Additional activities include:

My Artist and Me Toddlers to Age 3

Get ready for giggles, wiggles, and creative play! My Artist and Me is a joyful 6-week parent-and-tot class where toddlers (ages 1–3) explore movement, music, and beginner tumbling—all in a fun, supportive space with their favorite grown-up by their side.
Each class blends imaginative play with playful learning, helping little ones build confidence, coordination, and creativity. No dress code—just comfy clothes and a readiness to move, groove, and make memories together!
(Parent or caregiver participation is required.)
AIDA Tumblers Ages 2-5
Ages 2-3 Wed 7:10-7:40 $96/6 wks (guardian required)

Flip, roll, and grow with us! AIDA Tumblers for ages 2-5 is a high-energy, confidence-boosting introduction to gymnastics for ages 3–5. In this 6-week class, young athletes will explore basic tumbling skills while building strength, balance, coordination, and body awareness—all in a fun and supportive environment that encourages movement and self-expression. Tiny Artists Ages 2-3
Mon 5:45-6:30, Tues 10:20-11:05 (Lillington Comm. Center) or Sat 10:05-10:50
Tiny dancers, big smiles! In this playful introductory class, little ones will discover the basics of ballet and tap through imaginative movement, music, and fun. Dancers will twirl, tiptoe, and tap their way through foundational steps in a warm and encouraging space—perfect for first-time students!
Parents do not participate in class but are asked to remain in the building during the session.

Creative Artists Ages 4-6

Let the rhythm and imagination take the lead! In this upbeat combo class, dancers will explore the fundamentals of ballet and tap through structured lessons that encourage creativity, musicality, and joyful movement. Perfect for young dancers ready to twirl, shuffle, and shine!
Parents may remain in lobby or leave the building during this class.

Rising Artist Ages 6-11

Rising Artist is a fun and flexible dance class for ages 6–11 who are new to dance or simply want to move, create, and shine this summer! Dancers will explore the foundations of ballet, jazz, and tap in a relaxed, encouraging environment while dancing to pop culture favorites that keep classes exciting and engaging. Perfect for kids who want to add dance to their weekly enrichment without a big commitment. Rising Artists offers all the joy of dance in a low-pressure, upbeat setting.

AcroLab/Open Jazz Ages 7-up

Discover the art and athleticism of movement in Acro Lab! This class blends acrobatics and basic tumbling with the expressive styles of contemporary, lyrical, and jazz dance. Dancers will explore how to connect tricks and transitions through choreography that’s creative, fluid, and full of energy. Each class encourages safe skill-building, body awareness, and confidence — all in a fun, supportive environment designed for tweens and teens.

DRAMAworks JR Ages 4-9

Dramaworks Jr. Join us this winter as we showcase Winter Village: A Gingerbread Adventure, an original performance featuring Jan Brett’s beloved characters in Gingerbread Baby and Gingerbread Friends. Young performers will explore characters, build confidence, practice teamwork, and develop stage skills while preparing a delightful end-of-session performance. Perfect for children who love to act, move, create, and use their imaginations, this fun-filled program encourages creativity in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Dress code: Any comfortable clothing
